UTILIZING THE MODIFIED BITUMEN FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Author: Er. Tejinder Singh, Er. Mohit sharma & Er. Waris Manzoor

ABSTRACT
Bituminous Concrete (BC), a composite material used in flexible pavement construction, is mostly utilized in parking lots, airports, road covering projects. It is made up of mineral aggregate and asphalt or bitumen (used as a binder), which are combined, spread out in layers,& then compacted.
These days, the constant increase in heavy commercial vehicle traffic and the wide range of daily and seasonal temperatures place us in a difficult position where we must come up with some ideas for improving the pavement's quality and characteristics by implementing the necessary changes that will meet both strength and cost considerations. Plastics are pervasive in modern life and are expanding quickly everywhere, especially in emerging nations like India. The handling of these solid wastes is a significant challenge to society because they are not biodegradable. It has been discovered that bitumen can be effectively modified with low density polyethylene.

BEHAVIORAL BIASES AND CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTING: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS OF RISK PERCEPTION AND IRRATIONAL DECISION-MAKING
Author: Kesu Singh

ABSTRACT
Men and women without much knowledge about traditional finance, have been drawn to cryptocurrencies as a novel way to invest. Because the cryptocurrency market is very volatile, not regulated, information spreads rapidly on social media and trades can happen any time, it has become a place where behavioral biases thrive. The authors tried to discover through experiments how behavioral biases played a role in influencing decisions to invest in bitcoin.
In this study, four major biases—overconfidence, herding, loss aversion and anchoring—are studied through concepts from behavioral finance. Doing bitcoin investor research, the research combined examination of social network chatter with a survey of 500 active bitcoin users. Evidence from the results points out that, when making important decisions, retail investors are greatly affected by these biases. Although herding means people will follow popular trends, no matter what the facts say, loss aversion causes them to keep hol

CROPPING PATTERN TRANSITION AND YIELD SUSTAINABILITY IN PUNJAB: A DISTRICT-LEVEL GEOGRAPHICAL ANALYSIS (2005–2015)
Author: Daljeet Kaur

ABSTRACT
Punjab has historically been the backbone of India’s food grain production, with its agriculture dominated by the wheat–rice cropping system since the Green Revolution. While this intensive monoculture has ensured high productivity and national food security, it has also raised serious concerns regarding environmental degradation, groundwater depletion, soil fertility decline, and long-term yield sustainability. In this context, the present study examines the transition in cropping patterns and evaluates crop yield sustainability across districts of Punjab during the period 2005–2015 from a geographical perspective. The study is based on secondary data collected from official sources such as the Statistical Abstract of Punjab, Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Agricultural Census reports, and other government publications. District-wise data on area under major crops and crop yields were analyzed using statistical techniques including percentage analysis, growth rate a

LAND USE PATTERN AND ITS SPATIAL DYNAMICS IN HARYANA: A GEOGRAPHICAL ANALYSIS
Author: Monica

ABSTRACT:
Land is a significant determinant of all the productive and economic activities. The study of land use is inevitable in the current scenario of increasing human and animal population and resulting in widening ratio of land to man. State of Haryana is agriculturally prosperous state with fertile soils in most of the area. During 2010-11, the total cultivable area covered 85.36 percent area of the total reporting area in the state followed by land put to non-agricultural land use amounting 13.76 per cent and barren and uncultivable lands 2.38 percent. These figures were 88.21, 8.99 and 1.48 per cent respectively during 1980-81.
Net area sown, fallow lands, permanent pasture and other grazing lands, cultivable waste and land under miscellaneous tree crops and groves accounted for 80.70, 3.14, 0.63, 0.63 and 0.25 percent respectively, during 2010-11 of the total reporting area. It indicates that there is hardly any scope to increase the total cultivable area in future as it has

CLIMATE CHANGE, CARE WORK, AND CULTIVATION: THE INVISIBLE BURDEN ON FARMER WOMEN IN INDIA – A STUDY
Author: Chayadevi .E, C. Somashekher

Climate change poses one of the most significant threats to agrarian livelihoods in India, disproportionately affecting farmer women who constitute a substantial yet structurally marginalized segment of the agricultural workforce. This paper examines the gendered impacts of climate variability across diverse agro-ecological regions of India, including drought-prone, flood-affected, coastal, and tribal regions. Drawing upon secondary climate data, agrarian reports, state-level case studies, and feminist theoretical frameworks, the study argues that climate vulnerability among farmer women is socially constructed through intersecting axes of gender, caste, class, and land ownership patterns. Using Feminist Political Ecology, the Capability Approach, and Standpoint Theory, the research highlights how structural inequalities limit women’s adaptive capacity while simultaneously positioning them as key agents of ecological resilience. The paper identifies increased labor burdens, income inse

HONOR KILLING IN INDIA: A COMPARATIVE SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF CASTE, REGION, AND STATE RESPONSES - (WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO INDIA, HARYANA, KARNATAKA, AND TAMIL NADU)
Author: Sakpal R, C. Somashekher

ABSTRACT
Honor killing constitutes one of the most extreme forms of collective violence in India, arising from the intersection of caste hierarchy, patriarchal authority, and community-based mechanisms of social control. While dominant public narratives locate honor killings primarily in northern India, emerging evidence reveals that such violence occurs across regions, manifesting differently according to caste structures, kinship systems, and state responses. This paper undertakes a comparative sociological analysis of honor killing in Haryana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu to examine how regional political cultures, caste dominance, and institutional accountability shape patterns of honor-based violence. Drawing on secondary data, judicial records, National Crime Records Bureau reports, and sociological literature, the study argues that honor killing is not a regional anomaly but a national structural phenomenon embedded in the reproduction of caste and patriarchal power. THE RISE OF DIGITAL STORYTELLING IN INDIAN ADVERTISING: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TRADITIONAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
Author: Pawan Kumar, Mamta Rana & Anand Jaiswal

ABSTRACT
The rapid growth of digital technologies and social media platforms has transformed the advertising landscape across the world, including India. Traditional advertising, which primarily relied on television, radio, newspapers, and magazines, focused largely on product promotion and one-way communication. In contrast, contemporary digital advertising increasingly employs storytelling techniques to create emotional engagement, encourage consumer participation, and build long-term brand relationships. Digital storytelling has emerged as a powerful communication strategy that enables brands to connect with audiences through narratives that are relatable, interactive, and culturally relevant. This study examines the rise of digital storytelling in Indian advertising by comparing traditional advertising campaigns with social media-based campaigns. The paper explores how advertising communication has evolved from emphasizing product features to creating meaningful brand narratives t

Author: Aparna Dhingra , Shiva Johri

ABSTRACT
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, entrepreneurial failure became a common reality, pushing many business owners to reassess their ability to recover & restart ventures. The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept of entrepreneurial adaptability by identifying & validating the factors which motivate entrepreneurs to try again in the post-pandemic context. This study adopts confirmatory factor analysis to extract two dimensions: entrepreneurial awareness and readiness, and external factors influencing enterprises. The core variables of the first dimension are audience cognition and strategic decision-making capacity. This study confirms that internal clarity and cognitive readiness play a key driving role in re-entrepreneurship after business failure. In this Study the second factor concludes that political influence and sufficient investment are the dominant factors shaping entrepreneurial resilience, which verifies the core role of access to capital and a stab

THE PROPHET AND THE ORGANISATION OF A SOCIETY IN THE MIDST OF OTHER COMMUNITIES
Author: Ghulam Nabi

ABASTRACT
Prophet’s entry in Madinah was not an usual event, People of Madinah were divided in different tribes and the main population consisted of A’us and Khazraj, who were on fratricidal war for last six years. Jews another community besides other groups, were living independent life and they were broadly divided in three tribes- Banu Qainuqa, Banu Nadhir and Banu Quraidha, Two main groups (A’us and Khazraj) had entered into the fold of Islam and the other group belongs to Makkah (Muhajireen) who has taken asylum there. Christians are almost negligible – In such a complex society it was necessary to bring them together on some common rules and regulations. In order to safeguard the purpose of Islam Prophet called all the factions on some common points particularly for the defence of Madinah from unbelievers and it was documented. The common document is known as Mithaq-i Madinah or Kitab-i Madinah .The reason for this is that one who denies the truth is faithful only to his own self

Author:

REPRESENTATION OF WOMEN IN SELECTED WORKS OF ARUNDHATI ROY
Author: Rajbir Singh

ABSTRACT:
This research paper examines the representation of women in selected works of Arundhati Roy, namely The God of Small Things, The Ministry of Utmost Happiness, and The End of Imagination. The study aims to analyse how Roy represents women not merely as victims of patriarchal structures but as complex subjects shaped by gender, caste, sexuality, religion, nationalism, state violence, memory, and political resistance. Methodologically, the paper adopts a qualitative research design based on manual close reading and thematic content analysis. The selected works are treated as primary texts, while feminist theory, intersectionality, postcolonial feminism, queer theory, and subaltern studies provide the critical framework. The thematic findings reveal that Ammu in The God of Small Things represents gendered punishment, sexual autonomy, caste transgression, and maternal vulnerability. Anjum and Tilo in The Ministry of Utmost Happiness expand the representation of womanhood through
